Due to a high level of international expansion my client
is now seeking, for their Reading Head Office or Europe, Middle
East or Australasia, qualified:
Commercial Manager/Coordinator PCM Projects
Responsibilities:
As a key member of a PMC project team reporting to the Commercial
Manager, the main duties include:
- Assisting clients to develop the contracting strategy.
- Developing the required confidentiality arrangements.
- Preparing Invitation to Bid documents (ITBs) for licensed
units, commercial/contractual evaluation of licensors' bids
and assisting client to finalise agreements.
- Preparing EPC prequalification documents.
- Evaluating proposals and prequalification of EPC Contractors
- Preparing commercial/contractual elements of EPC ITBs
- Commercial/contractual/technical evaluation of EPC bidders
and assisting client in finalising contracts
- Providing commercial/contractual advice during project
execution.
Experience & Background:
- Experience in the construction contracting industry is
desirable, preferably within the refining/petrochemical/chemical
industry.
- The following experience is desirable: exposure to project
execution issues/risks; development of contracting strategies;
reviewing of technical and contractual documents; and drafting
and negotiation of agreements for engineering, procurement
and construction.
- You will need to be articulate and persuasive with excellent
writing skills and good time management.
- You will need to demonstrate an understanding of commercial/contractual
issues and pay attention to detail whilst also being able
to see the 'big picture'.
