Due to a high level of international expansion my client
is now seeking, for their Reading Head Office or Europe, Middle
East or Australasia, qualified:
Senior Civil Engineers and Principal Engineers
Responsibilities:
- Working as a member of Civil Engineering Group, which
provides engineering services to UK and International Clients
in the upstream oil & gas sector, both onshore &
offshore, as well as refining through to chemicals, petrochemicals,
LNG/GTL, pharmaceuticals and nuclear.
- In the Senior Civil Engineering and the Principal Engineering
role, you will take full responsibility for carrying out
civil/structural engineering design; provide lead to team
of engineers and CAD technicians for the execution of project
management and detailed engineering type of contracts.
- You will report to the Chief Civil Engineer and must be
familiar with national and international codes and standards.
Experience & Background:
- You should have a degree in civil or structural engineering
and preferably be a chartered engineer with a minimum of
ten years' experience.
- You must be highly motivated and well organized with broad
civil and structural engineering experience, preferably
with a petrochemical background.
- Particular experience in the aspects of site preparation,
hydraulic design relating to storm water and contaminated
drainage systems, marine/jetty facilities and offshore structures
would be advantageous.
