Due to a high level of international expansion my client
is now seeking, for their Reading Head Office or on world-wide
assignments in Europe, Middle East or Australasia, qualified:
Chemical Process Engineers
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking design work of units as required and the
supervise work of assigned junior engineers on the project
as appropriate.
- Make detailed calculations to develop designs, ensuring
accuracy and compliance to clients/FW requirements.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications
and Process Descriptions for review.
- Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental
and Quality Assurance procedures are followed.
- Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations
and reviews of the project model.
- Undertaking technical investigation projects and the development
of computer programs as requested. Understanding technical
developments in the Process industry and make recommendations
on technical improvements as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements within
working area.
- Attending world-wide assignments.
Experience & Background:
Chemical Engineering Degree with experience in Engineering
Contracting and Process Design within the energy sector. Experience
of design and specification of equipment and piping is required,
as well as the development of process flow diagrams and piping
and instrument diagrams. We also have opportunities for people
with the above experience and who also have proven skills
to lead and manage teams of process engineers.
