Due to a high level of international expansion my client
is now seeking, for their Reading Head Office or Europe, Middle
East or Australasia, qualified:
Lead Planning Engineer
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing a complete planning
and scheduling service to both project and corporate management
for all project and proposal activities. The main duties will
include:
- Establishing the requirements of each project with regard
to scope of services, organisations, job specific procedures
and planning & scheduling requirements in conjunction
with the assigned project planning engineer.
- Regularly reviewing the planning and scheduling of work
on current projects to ensure that activities are effectively
planned, resourced and completed.
- Maintaining a working environment within the planning
and scheduling group which is conducive to both self motivation
of staff and opportunities for career development.
- Keeping close liaison with client personnel to maintain
satisfactory working relationships and identify potential
problem areas.
- Maintaining awareness of major client requirements for
planning and scheduling services.
Experience & Background:
- Relevant degree/Chartered Engineer or appropriate experience.
- 5-10 years' experience in petrochemical or similar industries.
- Knowledge of PRIMAVERA software packages.
