Customer Service Agent & Marketing Assistant

We are an international company with six offices located in Germany USA and Asia. Our services include maintenance, repair and spare parts for Japanese industrial machinery and electrical equipment located around the world. We are therefore working on a long-term contract basis for many Japanese manufacturers both large and small. Most of these are in the field of Machine-Tools, Robotics, Semiconductors and Mechatronic equipment.

For our German office located in Rodgau near Frankfurt, we are now seeking additional support for the sales and service office as:

Customer Service Agent & Marketing Assistant

(Bürokaufmann/frau Kundendienst und Vertrieb)

Job Tasks:

- Taking orders for from customers by phone fax and email and locating the correct spare-parts.
- Arranging logistics for shipping the parts.
- Occasionally visiting customers to improve contacts and promote future business (around 10% business trips).
- Conducting market study of Japanese machinery sold and used in Europe for future potential business.
- Discussing with potential suppliers regarding their needs in Europe
- Assisting the Managing Director in general commercial matters.

Candidate Profile:

- Commercial training with some technical product experience or Technician apprenticeship with some commercial experience.
- Age 25-35, male or female.
- Native German and usable English (for inside the office).
- An outgoing person with good communication skills.
- Flexible, open and motivated personality.
- Should have an interest in technology.
