oil company operating an oil production of more than 550,000
barrels per day and a sales gas production of up to some
1,000 million cubic feet per day. The company has a net
production exceeding 500,000 barrels of oil equivalents
per day from fields in the Danish and British parts of the
North Sea, offshore Qatar, in Algeria
and in Kazakhstan.
Activities are ongoing in the Danish, British, German and
Norwegian sectors of the North Sea, Qatar,
Algeria, Angola,
Kazakhstan,
Turkmenistan, Oman,
Morocco,
Colombia, Brazil
and Surinam.
This major international company is now seeking a qualified:
Senior Process Engineer
We have a high level of activity and are
experiencing ongoing development of both existing and new
fields. Thus, the company is looking for a Senior Process
Engineer for the office in Esbjerg,
Denmark.
The position
The Senior Process Engineer is expected
to supervise other process engineers and simultaneously
manage a number of process engineering projects in the following
areas:

Development of conceptual
engineering designs
-
Development of consultant
scopes of work and management of the subsequent implementation
of the work.

Onshore production
operations engineering and production management, including
day-to-day contact with offshore personnel and interface
departments
-
Writing offshore operational
production procedures and programmes
-
Participation in HAZID,
HAZOP, SIL reviews and other safety studies
-
Use of process simulation
packages such as Design II or HYSIS
-
Some knowledge or
experience within one or more of the following areas:
offshore work, maintenance, control & instrumentation,
chemical/corrosion, well testing, well services/drilling
operations, and/or engineering & projects.
The person
The successful
candidate preferably has 10 years’ or more experience
and an Engineering Degree. A high process - and personnel
safety awareness is required. It is required that the Senior
Process Engineer has good analytical skills, good report
writing skills and good English skills. Furthermore, the
candidate should be cost-conscious, self-motivating,
ambitious and hard working.
