Our client is a European leader in North Sea Oil exploration and production. Established over 30 years ago they now employ nearly 7,000 staff worldwide and provide some of the most advanced drilling services. Our client is looking for Process Engineers for employment in their Copenhagen organisation. The Engineering Department works with both new building projects and operational support. The jobs will be in either drilling engineering or in production engineering. You will be located in the Copenhagen head office, but depending of the actual tasks it could be necessary to go to the building yards, world wide suppliers and the offshore units.

We are looking for process engineers with relevant experience and covering as many as possible of the mentioned tasks below. We have a preference for experience within the Oil and Gas industry, but other relevant experience could also be considered. As a process engineer you will be assigned a new building project or a conversion of existing units with following tasks:  

• Design
• Process simulation - Hysis
• Equipment sizing
• Lay-outs
• Process Control knowledge
• Preparation of outline specifications
• Manage design with subcontractors
• Manage specialist studies and warranty surveys
• Review and comment design documents
• Participate in contract negotiations with subcontractors
• Participate and/or conduct meetings with subcontractors
• Participate in safety review meetings HAZID/HAZOP etc.
• Participate in interface coordination activities

The ideal candidate is either a newly graduated engineer with minimum a B.Sc. degree with a good command of relevant process engineering disciplines. Or a Senior Engineer with experience from Engineering Consultant, Refining or Off Shore experience.
