Cost
Engineer
Location:
Karabatan/Atyrau, Kazakhstan
Reporting to: Costs
Controls Manager
Purpose: To
provide accurate and timely cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Accountabilities
and Responsibilities: The job holder is responsible
for: Support the Manager in the following areas:

Cost Reports – Internal
and Client Monthly
-
Cash Flow – Internal and Client
Monthly
-
VOWD for monthly progress
-
Coordinate with Finance/Accounts team
for actual / accruals / forecasts
-
Assistance with Daily / Weekly / Monthly
Reports
Main Interfaces:
Company
- Cost Group
- Area Engineers
- QS Group
- Subcontract
- Finance
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Must have English - speak, read, & write
- Must be computer literate
- Minimum 5 years experience. Engineering Background
preferred.
- Able to do some estimating
- Some Turkish language is an advantage
Required Competencies:
Able to estimate from drawings is an advantage
Working Conditions
Atyrau/Karabatan offices, camp
environment
Working hours depend on hire type:
Schedule: Expatriate – normally up to 60 hours a week.
Occasional overtime during peak phases of project.
Rotation: 9 weeks on and 3 weeks off or 6 weeks on and 2
weeks off. (R&R flights home paid)
Salary around 6-10,000 USD p/m, depending on experience.
Mobilization expenses up to 2,000 USD.
Accomodation paid.
