To support the extensive operations in Kazakhstan, we are seeking now a (m/f):
Cost Control Manager
Location: Karabatan, Atyrau, Kazakhstan
Reporting to: Projects Controls Manager
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for
:
- Ensure a timely and high-quality
cost-reporting service within project and to client
- Ensure that cost reporting,
planning and financial figures are consistent
- Supervise the preparation of
a monthly Forecast Final Cost for the project incorporating
known and projected changes and risks
- Ensure that Changes in the
Project Value are properly
documented and reflected in reported figures
- Develop and implement cost
estimating procedures incorporating estimating rates where required
- Develop and implement cost
control procedures which reflect good industry practise
- Maintain estimating rates using
feedback from actuals
- Prepare estimates for additions
or modifications to the project as required
- Ensure that cost records exist
in appropriate details and of sufficient accuracy to allow easy
and reliable data retrieval
Contribute to development and training of local staff

Qualifications
&Experience:
The job holder must have:
- Relevant diploma or degree in this field
- Minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field

The job holder must have:
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within
multi-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple
tasks simultaneously
- Good people management and leadership skills allied
to a strong commercial awareness
Working
Conditions:
Atyrau/Karabatan
offices, camp environment
Working hours depend on hire type:
Schedule: Expatriate- 60 hours
a week with incidental overtime
Rotation: 9 weeks on and 3 weeks off or
6 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
(R&R flights paid)
Salary around 8-12,000 USD p/m, depending
on experience.
Mobilization expenses up to 2,000 USD.
